Supply Chain & Warehouse Specialist

Join us in this role where you’ll assist with the implementation and execution of setting up Onshore plants and BOP stock into Orsted SAP. As we transition certain business areas from Excel sheets to SAP, the Supply Chain and Warehouse Specialist will maintain master data integrity, set up locations, and establish reorder points. After successful implementation, this role will also coordinate shipments, procure materials, manage order prices and quantities, receive shipments, organize inventories, forecast demand, respond to demand changes, and resolve supply chain issues.

You’ll be part of Warehouse Coordination team where you, together with your colleagues, will support the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of the offshore wind farms. You will also work to support supply chain process development in partnership with the Global Process Owner. As a team, we will work to maintain a high regard for safety, a collaborative ethos, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

You’ll play an important role in:

• implementing and maintaining SAP in US Operations, using approved procedures and processes within Warehousing and Planning
• warehouse management at sites and regional HUB’s, living up to and in accordance with approved SAP and business processes owned by SCM
• monitoring all discrepancies in stock regulations, counts and initiate stock counts or recounts on all Sites/HUB Warehouses if needed, including feedback to Plant Manager
• contributing to development of new and existing Warehouses within but not limit to: place, layout, construction and ways of working to support Orsted standard processes
• supporting and collaboration with the Global Process Owner in development and improvement of SAP Standard Warehouse processes
• optimizing warehouse and planning control and communicate discrepancies while developing an agile supply chain setup within Operations. High focus on inventory/warehouse management including transportation.

To succeed in the role, you:

• have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in logistics or supply chain management
• are IT literate, with a knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems, as well as the Microsoft Office package
• have proficiency with warehouse procedures, policies, and SAP
• demonstrate experience in leading and performance managing cross-functional teams
• have excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
• have strong stakeholder management skills.
