Senior Java Developer - €85k

As a hybrid Senior Java Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to support the development team while ensuring that a DevOps mindset is engrained in developing their products.

Tasks:

• End-to-end maintenance of systems to ensure strong performance and reliability
• Agile solving of problems and troubleshooting of issues across the entire technical stack
• Continuous collaboration with developers designing exciting new services and features
• Able to take independent responsibility and execute tasks in a pressurised production environment
• Able to utilise your knowledge to mentor and develop junior members of the team
• Proactive and eager for self-development and continuous learning

Experience:

• 3 years of experience working with Java (Core Java)
• Strong knowledge of JVM internals/ profiling, garbage collection tuning
• Experience working with DevOps tools or a willingness to learn and grow in this area
• Deep knowledge of multithreaded and concurrent programming
• Excellent communicator in English
• Nice to haves: Experience working with low latency, TCP internals, socket programming, git, Oracle and MySQL
