For their office in Falkenberg/ Elster, in Germany, we are currently looking for a Financial Accountant to join our client on their exciting projects.

We are actively seeking a candidate to take on the following:

Responsibilities:

• Process daily invoicing, including mailing invoices with purchase orders and related documents, and coordinate with Order Entry and Shipping to ensure accuracy.
• Manage collections for past-due accounts, including customer follow-ups, and record supplier invoices promptly.
• Assist with Accounts Payable, month-end close, and tax filings, such as VAT, and Intangible Tax, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations, periodic account reconciliations, and provide necessary information to external accountants and auditors.
• Oversee financial, HR, and administrative functions in line with organizational policies and legal requirements, including tax-related processes and financial reporting.
• Lead income tax accounting, legal entity accounting, and forecasting of cash flow positions to support operational and capital investment needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience with strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Experience in general ledger functions and month/year-end close processes.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and familiarity with office technology and business trends.
