Finance Manager

Bergner Group, a leading multinational in the household goods sector, is seeking experienced Finance Managers for its affiliates in Latin America (based in Mexico), North, Central, and Eastern Europe (based in Germany), and Italy (based in Italy).

These roles will report to the Finance Controller in Bergner Hong Kong and/or the Bergner Europe CFO in Spain. The ideal candidates will possess deep expertise in local accounting practices, taxation, and fundraising with local banks.​

Location: Düsseldorf, Germany​

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Oversight: Manage financial operations across multiple European countries, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards.​
• Taxation: Oversee tax planning and compliance for Germany and other relevant jurisdictions.​
• Banking Relations: Cultivate relationships with European banks to facilitate fundraising and manage financial instruments.​
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to regional financial strategies and performance evaluations.​
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks within the region.​
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor finance staff across the region.​

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CFA or equivalent preferred.​
• At least 5 years of financial management experience in Europe.​
• Comprehensive understanding of European accounting practices and tax regulations.​
• Demonstrated success in fundraising within European financial markets.​
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.​
• Proficiency in German and English; additional European languages advantageous.​
