Associate Software Integration Engineer (m/f/d) - Life Science Automation

We are looking for a talented software engineer passionate about creating software that changes the world! As a software engineer, you will assist in the development, testing, and deployment of software solutions that integrate various systems and applications. You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications. In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integration processes, performance, and software quality. You will follow established best practices and standards for software engineering and documentation, and continuously learn new technologies and tools to enhance integration capabilities and efficiency. A successful candidate will have a passion for good coding practices and an aptitude for solving intricate puzzles.

This position can be filled in our offices in Freiburg (Germany), Berlin (Germany) or Gothenburg (Sweden).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of software solutions that integrate various systems and applications
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integration processes, performance, and software quality
• Follow established best practices and standards for software engineering and documentation
• Continuously learn new technologies and tools to enhance integration capabilities and efficiency
• Communicate the status of assigned tasks clearly and effectively

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Practical programming skills in C#
• Familiarity with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby
• Basic understanding of the software development life cycle, testing methodologies, and related tools
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Willingness and motivation to learn new technologies and develop new skills
