About The Role

As Technical Consultant you will already have gained valuable experience implementing C8 across multiple clients. This experience is not only the cornerstone for your success but is also the basis to support the rest of the Technical/Functional team to achieve success in their respective projects.

Within each project the challenges are different but the requirements to deliver quality is a constant that threads its way through all aspects of delivery. As an experienced Technical Consultant, you strive to keep a high standard of delivery from a technical perspective by also supporting the Project and Leadership team to work towards a common goal.

From the Clients perspective you are the face of Centric, whether the interaction is remote or on-site, the interaction between yourself and the client must always be professional.

Having empathy when working with customers provides you the ability to understand where they are coming from, whether C8 will replace their existing PLM system or being a new implementation. Persons that have been working with the system for a long time will be nervous and as part of the implementation you play a vital role in the acceptance of C8 not just by the functional teams but also the technical.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a utilization target of 80% is kept.
  • Lead Customer sessions for Migration and Integration
  • Explain Architectural concepts based on C8 deployment options
  • Understand and explain C8 best practices that will lead to a successful deployment.
  • Work with the Functional stream to get the best solution based on customer requirements.
  • Document implementation details for future use, either for support or the client themselves.
  • Prioritization of Tasks against plan
  • Conflict Management
  • Escalation Management
  • Understanding of customer SOW
  • Provide estimation based on functional requirements
  • Create and follow up on Technical Tasks to provide the required solution based on overall Project plan.
  • Time Management & Tracking
  • Budget Management for Technical tasks (example: data migration and integration) raising deviation when visible.
  • Proactive progress tracking on assignments and timely feedback to Project Management
  • Train customers on C8 technical solution according to the Centric training offerings throughout the different phases of the project


Daily Tasks

  • Installation of C8 components
  • Building of Migration code using Native Importer.
  • Configuration of attributes based on Functional requirements.
  • Advanced configuration based on Best practices.
  • Data export setup
  • Running upgrades for customer


Skills

  • Execute Centric implementation methodologies
  • Requirements gathering & documentation
  • Translate functional requirements into performant Technical solutions
  • Communication (internal / external)
    • Create and recommend Technical options
    • Explain complex Technical solution and concept in a simple understandable manner
    • Feedback loop to project team
  • Willing to share knowledge on different levels of the Centric organization
  • Prepare and lead Trainings for both internal resources as well as customers based on demand
  • Continuous Skill Development based on new Technologies added to the Centric enterprise.

  • Qualifications:
    • Certified IT Education and programming experience
