Senior Supply Chain Planner

We are supporting a rapidly growing industrial machinery manufacturer based in Hannover, known for their precision-engineered solutions and commitment to innovation. With a strong and loyal customer base both locally in Germany as well as globally, our client has built a reputation based on quality and reliability across a number of different industries. As part of their growth mission to take their supply chain capabilities to the next level, they are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planner to join their dynamic team.

In this role, you will play an essential role in capitalising on continued growth to endure all materials flow efficiently through the supply chain and production schedules are met. You will also be given the freedom to improve and upgrade planning systems in line with best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and continually improve medium and longer term supply chain planning strategies.
• Manage and optimise inventory levels across multiple production sites across Europe.
• Design and create KPIs along with the relevant dashboards to provide visibility for internal stakeholders.
• Act as a subject matter expert during digital transformation initiatives such as ERP or planning tool upgrades.
• Ensuring that all necessary materials are available in line with accurate lead times.

Key skills:

• Business fluency in both English and German is required.
• Strong experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Strong internal stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrable history improving forecast accuracy and reducing inventory costs
