About the Role

You role will be to help keep our risk as low as possible by Auditing clients within a commercial Finance lending business that provides factoring or Invoice Finance to SMEs in Germany. This will involve meeting clients, reviewing financial information, receipts and processes to confirm that finance is secure and keep lending risk as low as possible.

Responsibilities

• Preparation, implementation and follow-up of business lending (Factoring) audits
• Analyze and monitor factoring-specific risks as well as portfolio and transaction figures
• You create extensions and increase requests within the scope of your area of responsibility
• You will check and analyze accounts receivable contracts and corresponding credit limits
• You create the credit decision template and/or the audit report
• You are responsible for approving invoices
• You are responsible for the reviews/reassessments of the Risk, Financial Crime/AML Grading

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in German and English.
• Must have performed either a Lending Audit role or Business Loan Sanctioning role.
• Ability to read and analyse financial statements, accounts and invoices.
• Inquisitive mind able to ask searching questions to unearth any adverse data, in an attempt to reduce risk.
• Knowledge of Efcom (factoring software) is desirable but not essential.
• Drivers License - Business Travel - Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
