Job Description

The role

We are in the process of opening a new, state-of-the-art location in Halberstadt. This location will be future-focused, with automation and technology playing a key role. We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer who can provide leadership in optimizing processes and ensuring capacity and cost efficiencies.

Together with your team, you plan, develop and implement new or changed processes. This is an important role within the site as it is also required to help design the floor plan based on overall efficiency. You will work with the procurement team, engage new suppliers and negotiate new contracts.

They also take care of the customer and ensure that all requests are met. As part of your process improvement, train your employees and team about the new processes and the reasons for the changes.

This role will work very closely with the senior leadership team on the site and is critical to make sure that the site is running as efficiently and productively as possible. Your role will be critical in the long term success of the location.

So What Are We Looking For

To be sucessful in this role it is essential that you have the following skills:

• Industrial engineer, bachelor's or master's degree in the field of logistics, production technology, business administrationor equivalent experience
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel, SAP, AutoCad, SolidWorks, VISIO
• Experience of managing a small team
• The ability to train and explain new processes to others
• Experience of managing multiple projects at any one time.
