Senior Sales Manager (Germany)

Elsewedy Electric has decided to accelerate its successful growth in the Germany market and as a result, are pleased to recruit an outstanding Senior sales manager to focus on its transformer business.

The applicant will be responsible for leading and continuing Elsewedy sales growth in the German market to cover the private or non-utility sector such as renewables, Industrial, Data Centers, and Battery Storage. The role will include the sales of all types of transformers: ODT, PWT, and Dry.

The role of the successful applicant will include but not be limited to the following:

• Fostering customer relationships with German electricity distribution/transmission network operators, renewable energy developers and contractors.
• To develop and maintain a budget and business plan, reporting periodically to Elsewedy management on progress.
• Creating local outlets for sales of oil distribution and resin encapsulated transformers around Europe.
• Providing technical input and expertise in the investment and development of new products for the European market place.
• Supporting the tender and design teams in preparing pre-qualifications, tenders and other offers.
• Tender negotiations and contract delivery

From the prospective candidates we are seeking the following key skills and attributes:

• At least five years’ experience working in Europe within the transformer industry, part of this experience must include high value sales activity. Currently working for a transformer manufacture will be a distinct advantage. Allied industry experience will also be considered.
• Able to demonstrate a track record of success in the transformer sales activity and new product development.
• Technical education or qualification, preferably with an electrical power focus
• Ability to work independently (from home) while working closely with colleagues in Egypt and other European countries
• Ideally resident in Germany and be able to travel unrestricted.
• Ability to speak and write in both German and English languages fluently is a must
