For our long-standing and renowned customer from the IT service industry, we are looking for several IT technicians for user support (m/f/d) in the Münster area.
Tasks
You will work as part of an experienced IT team and take responsibility for tasks in the area of client support and IT workstation support. Your focus will be on the implementation of IMAC/R processes (installation, relocation, replacement, dismantling), including the configuration and commissioning of clients (PCs, notebooks, thin clients, mobile devices) as well as technical support for workplace relocations.Together with the team, you will look after peripheral devices, ensure the setup and maintenance of media technology in meeting rooms and provide support in the administration of macOS devices and, after training, Citrix environments and VPN access.You will be actively involved in hardware management and inventory, troubleshooting in the client and network environment (Windows, macOS, LAN/WLAN/VPN) and carrying out software installations that cannot be provided automatically, as well as setting up mobile devices (iOS), providing direct support to users and fully documenting all activities in the ticket systems used (INA-DB and SR ).
Job requirements
Completed vocational training in the IT sector or a comparable qualificationPreferably also sound professional experience in the service desk or in comparable activitiesideal experience in supporting larger IT environmentsGood knowledge of operating systems and standard softwareGood communication skills and independent working styleVery good written and spoken German skillsWillingness to work occasional shifts and on-call dutiesYou have direct contact with end users, good manners, a well-groomed appearance and an open and respectful communication style are essential!
