About this role
You will be responsible for the strategic development and sales of complex technological solutions based on AI/AGI, especially in the area of marketing & sales technology.
This role combines technical expertise with excellent consulting skills to develop customised solutions for customers and build long-term business relationships.
You will work across teams in Germany and Switzerland for the DACH region.
Your mission
Development of customised solutions and services for the gateB product portfolio based on AI or GenAI and related technologies
Monitoring market trends and developments in the field of generic artificial intelligence in connection with the areas of data management, customer intelligence, customer service, content supply chain, marketing, sales and business development
Monitoring and analysing the technology, tool and competitive landscape in order to develop, adapt and optimise your own service and product portfolio and sales strategies
Defining and creating corresponding gateB offerings and products
Identification of new potential partner technologies
Strategic positioning of solutions in the tech stack and in the customer's solution roadmap
Advising customer project teams on solutioning and best practices
Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships through consulting and sparring with customers
Identifying new business opportunities and up- and cross-selling potential with existing and new customers
Establishing, expanding and maintaining a network of contacts in the industry to identify potential business opportunities
Establishing, expanding and maintaining a network and pipeline for the solutions and services developed with existing and new customers
Participating as a thought leader & topic expert at industry events, trade fairs and conferences to promote gateB and its products
Your profile
Sound knowledge and experience in the application of artificial intelligence (GenAI), predictive analytics and other relevant/adjacent technologies, software architectures or cloud solutions in relation to enterprise solutions (ideally in the area of marketing and sales)
Domain expertise: application and potential benefits of data-based processes, use cases with artificial intelligence, AI-based business models
Business development & sales know-how with: At least 5 years of professional experience in B2B sales of IT or software solutions and the care of existing customers
Your skills
Passionate AI Solution Lead with business development responsibility, entrepreneurial mindset and interest in finding solutions for our customers' needs
Strong communication skills & ability to communicate complex technical solutions in an understandable way and convince decision makers.
Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative, a structured approach and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Strong flair for enterprise software and marketing understanding
Enthusiastic customer consultant and responsible role model in terms of commitment and dedication to customer needs,
Sparring partner of the customer at senior level
Committed and proactive doer with a high level of problem-solving expertise who does not lose sight of the ‘big picture’ at the same time
Well-organised, structured coordinator with analytical thinking skills and conceptual strengths
Enjoys travelling and working with people from different cultures, spontaneous and flexible, around 10-20% travel in the DACH region
