Role Overview
As a
Territory Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and business growth within your assigned region, focusing on the
Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. You will work closely with clients, understanding their business challenges, and positioning our
construction software solutions to address their needs.
Your role will require a strategic approach to account management, including new business development, relationship management, and pipeline growth. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the
AEC industry, excellent sales skills, and a proven ability to engage with stakeholders across different levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow revenue and market share within the assigned territory.
- Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities within the AEC sector.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored software solutions.
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of our construction and BIM software solutions.
- Work closely with marketing, pre-sales, and technical teams to ensure client success and satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring alignment with company goals and client requirements.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities.
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales performance, pipeline development, and customer interactions.
Responsibilities
- 5 years of sales experience in the AEC industry, preferably in software, technology, or related solutions.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of construction software, BIM (Building Information Modeling), CAD solutions, or project management tools used in the AEC industry.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline, conducting client meetings, and leading negotiations.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in construction, architecture, and engineering firms.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales reporting tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the AEC sector, including industry workflows and digital transformation trends.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
