Job Title: Sales Representative
Works closely with and have impact on: Colleagues from Sales, Commercial, Marketing, and Customer Service
Reports to: Regional Manager Sales North EMEA
Function: Commercial
Work Location/Site: Northern Germany
Role Overview
In this challenging and exiting role, you will play a vital part in achieving our goals. You will work closely with our Customer Service and Marketing team and will be able to establish relationships with clients, represent HOYA Surgical Optics on fairs and events and form a robust client base in northern Germany.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Achievement of Sales, Profit Margin, and Market Share objectives
- Increase number of new customers for HOYA products
- Implement strategic sales procedures to achieve sales results,
- Introduce and sell new products to customers according to budget,
- Establish close customer liaison and customer loyalty,
- Identify potential targets and win them as customers,
- Increase market share in region
- Consignment stock management
- Understanding of customers expectation and needs and react accordingly
Requirements
Experience
- Ambition, in selling surgical products to surgeons and decision makers private clinics and hospitals
- Act with passion to convince customers of HSO products and product quality
Skills/Accreditations
- Highly motivated to achieve and exceed targets
- Self-organized, and team orientated
- Well organized and focused, looking for most effective approach
- Show a good knowledge of PC tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- German on a first language level
- English benefitial
Academic Qualifications
- Commercial and/or scientific background of 2-5 years desired
- Optical background beneficial
- Qualification as Medical Product Advisor according to §83 MPDG
Travel requirements
- 80 % Daily travel within own territory, occasional travel for several days for training, congresses, etc.
