Business Development Manager - Charging Solutions


iO Associates is partnered with a leading provider of innovative solutions for the Electric Vehicle (EV) charging industry, who is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team.


As the Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth of our client's business in the electric vehicle charging systems market.


Requirements:

  • At least 5-7 years of technical sales experience with Electric Vehicle Charging Solutions or Battery Energy Storage solutions
  • Fluency in both English and German
  • Excellent understanding of the sales, business development, and account management processes
  • Technical knowledge of Electric Vehicle Charging Solutions, Power Conditioning Systems, and Battery Energy Storage Systems
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships
  • Strong legal understanding of contracts and the ability to negotiate



Responsibilities:

  • Analyse the development and understand the nature of the Electric Vehicle Charging Systems market ecosystem
  • Construct, in accordance with your analysis, business development strategies and sales plans
  • Identify and report business opportunities in the targeted segments: EV OEM, Utility, Charging Point Operator
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers by acting as an account manager
  • Coordinate and manage technical and commercial bid preparation
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure legal compliance
  • Manage pipeline projects and ensure their successful execution
  • Achieve sales targets and revenue as defined by the business leadership
  • Represent our client during conferences, trade shows, and industry networking events in Germany
  • Interact with management across our client's organization
