Senior Electrical Engineer

JDRoss are seeking a highly skilled professional to join a prominent consultancy specialising in data centre projects across Germany. As part of a dynamic team of 20 experts within one of the world's leading engineering firms, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design of electrical systems (MV, LV, ELV) for medium to large-scale data centre projects, guiding them through all phases from initial concept to construction supervision and final handover.
• Prepare and review design deliverables, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
• Lead project initiatives and collaborate closely with clients to deliver tailored solutions that address their specific requirements.
• Present technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
• Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders, including other engineering disciplines, regulatory authorities, public service providers, and international clients.
• Mentor and supervise junior team members while collaborating with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team to leverage expertise at local, regional, and global levels.

Qualifications:

• A University Degree in Electrical Design or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in designing data centres or similar projects.
• Familiarity with relevant German codes and industry standards.
• Proficiency in both English and German.
• Experience with 3D BIM software, particularly Revit MEP.
• Experience in a planning office is a plus.
