Commissioning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service stationary battery energy systems (BESS) at customer sites.
• Travel to customer's site in Switzerland and Europe and provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with external suppliers to integrate transformers and inverters.
• Set up and maintain tools and equipment for efficient service operations.
• Develop engineering solutions and tools to optimize installation and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and document service activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in commissioning, service, or maintenance of battery systems or power electronics.
• Strong knowledge of battery storage systems, transformers, and inverters.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Europe.
