The team is responsible for developing technologies, calibration methodologies and the respective
instrumentation for the calibration and validation of Client's products. These solutions will be used during New Product Introduction and transferred to mass production.
The role of an Optical Engineer is to design and deploy effective calibration and test strategies for Clients depth sensors across all product range.
Responsibilities:
X-functional collaboration to implement general optical safety testing methodology with a focus on traceability and process capability.
Technical communication with instrumentation vendors within Europe, Asia and America.
Introduction of new test coverages with minimal impact on current test infrastructure.
Work with a x-func team (mechanical, SW, EE, optics) to implement the calibration and test coverages during NPI.
Develop repeatable and reproducible processes that meet mass production requirements without affecting customer experience.
Mandatory Skills Description:
Optical concepts knowledge such as lenses, chromatic aberration, optical system modeling, spectroscopy
Programming skills in Python, MATLAB for data analysis
C/C /Objective C (regular)
Knowledge & experience of image processing
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
Enthusiasm to learn and work in a cross functional team
Ability to build strong relationships with x-functional teams and vendors.
