Job Title: Logistics Planner (w/m/d) – limited 1 year
Location: Unterschleißheim (Munich Region), Germany
Position Description
We are currently looking for a
Logistics Planner (w/m/d) limited to 1 year to join our Munich team. This position supports all operational activities of logistic and reports to Logistics Manager Europe.
In this role, you are expected to be responsible for:
- Executing logistics planning and mass production support of logistics topics including systems, packaging, transport/delivery, documentation, warehouse and customs
- Executing logistics pre-series planning and mass production support of logistics topics including systems, packaging,transport/ delivery, documentation, warehouse and customs
- Providing an interface between the Chinese International Logistics organization and the European customers
- Providing feedback on queries with regard to internal and customer KPIs and metrics.
- Coordination of external warehouse providers and site-visits
- Development of warehouse providers in Europe and implementation of processes and standards including training of key warehouse personnel
- Support internal and external audits
- Supporting packaging development, -procurement and–management
- Series project control (supply chain coverage tracking and bottleneck coordination)
- Logistics change management and dealing with obsolescence
- Coordination of customs clearance processes
- Complaints management
- Collaboration and support across departments and teams
Following Qualifications And Abilities Are Expected For This Role
- Bachelor or master degree in business administration, logistics, engineering or related job experience
- Minimum of two years’ work experience in logistics (also by studies), preferably within the automotive industry
- Extensive knowledge of the logistics area of a manufacturing company, preferably in a fast-growing environment
- Profound excel skills, very good MS-Office knowledge, user experience with ERP system
- Business fluent German (verhandlungssicher) and English language skills
- Very flexible, willing to travel within Europe
- Very good communication and negotiation skills
- Strong cost and quality awareness and solution-oriented thinking
- Good analytical skills, moderation skills, self-dependent working style, and result orientation
- Open minded and hands-on mentality.
