Your Accountabilities
As Manager Commercial Strategy (m/f/d) you will be responsible for M-C commercialization strategy within commercial operations of PM Germany. The main responsibility are the bottom-up planning/forecasting process of all channels as profound basis for the further IBP process, owning the pricelist process as a central function as well as the density model of physical touchpoint distribution in Germany, proposing leading the M-C assortment strategy across all channels, leading Commercial Operations projects such as One Data, owning the retail pyramid, and together with Manager Commercial Planning support & consult the Director Commercial Operations in the development of senior management presentations.
- Drive & monitor the Multi-Category bottom-up planning process, incl. actuals integration and forecasting, while ensuring proper quality standards and extrapolating the planning gap between Commercial Operations planning and overall company targets.
- Fully and independently own the pricelist process, apply the pre-fill of margin calculations for all platforms following PMGs margin strategy, align the process and status quo with all stakeholders and ensure the timely and error free send-outs.
- Further develop the density model and its assumptions to demonstrate constant LAS reach improvement incl. the derivation of actionable proposals on channel level
- Steadily further developing the M-C assortment strategy aiming for maximized efficiency across all channels considering the individual channel limitations
- Owning and leading critical Commercial Operations projects such as One Data while even after project closure stay gatekeeper to change the dataset constitution
- Constantly evolve current planning processes (incl. new solutions e.g. AI to further increase efficiencies.
- Support the Manager Commercial Strategy & Planning in the development of EU/OC presentations
- Close cross-functional collaboration with Manager Commercial Planning & Manager Business Planning
- Lead, manage & develop a team of three Commercial Strategy (Sr.) Executives.
Your Profile
- College/university degree, preferably in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Engineering, Technical Studies
- At least 5 years’ experience in a multinational and/or regional company in Sales, Financial Planning or Strategy with focus on analytics, project management and general business acumen.
- Proven leadership skills and strong empathy
- Ability to work in a team, high motivation and enthusiasm
- Mediation skills, decisiveness and holistic thinking
- Quick comprehension as well as result-oriented and independent way of working with the ability to prioritize
- Strong and confident communication and presentation skills at all levels.
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills. Comfortable in speaking with all levels of the organization
- Excellent project management skills
- Openness and courage for new things as well as the drive to optimize in a dynamically changing environment
- Fluency in German & English, both written and verbal
- Very strong MS Office skills, esp. Excel & PowerPoint.
