Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure: Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure for web applications and AI solutions using Microsoft Azure in the retail and Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) spaces.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment processes.
• Database Management: Deploy, configure, and manage various databases ensuring high availability and performance.
• Auth Management: Implement and manage authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Logging and Monitoring: Set up comprehensive logging, monitoring, and debugging systems to ensure application reliability and performance.
• Operations: Serve as the go-to person for supporting end customers when the application encounters issues.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, AI, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve deployment processes, infrastructure, and tools.
• Language: Good verbal and written skills in English (B2) and German (B2).

Requirements

• Cloud Deployment: Extensive experience with cloud deployment, specifically using Microsoft Azure.
• Web Apps and AI Applications: Proven experience in deploying web applications and AI solutions in a cloud environment.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Expertise in setting up and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Database Management: Experience with deploying and managing various database systems, including SQL and NoSQL.
• Authentication Management: Knowledge and experience in managing authentication and authorization systems.
• Logging and Monitoring: Proficiency in implementing logging, monitoring, and debugging solutions for cloud-based applications.

Optional

• Kubernetes (k8s): Proficiency and experience with Kubernetes.
• Security Best Practices: Understanding cloud security best practices and compliance.
• Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.

Nice To Have

• Solution Architecture: Participated in or built public cloud architectures like account architectures, network architectures or else at one of the public cloud providers like Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a production grade environment, with a strong portfolio demonstrating relevant projects.
• Platform Engineering: Experience in building production grade development platforms for developers.
