Our team VIG - Trust Points Implant Registers and Health Data is entrusted with the conception and implementation of pseudonymization services for medical registers and research data centers in order to create secure infrastructures for internationally connectable research data in Germany.

Your task with us

You will take care of the operating infrastructure at application level for our trust centers, ensure the technical availability of our applications during operation and assist with deployment and the analysis of support cases. Your tasks include in particular

• Configuration and documentation of IT systems for the deployment of applications in test and production environments
• Support with the deployment of the trust center software
• Development and implementation of solutions for trust center-specific deployment, testing and monitoring of test and production environments
• Solving and documenting support cases as part of the trust center operations team with a focus on technical root cause analysis and log analysis
• Recording, analyzing and documenting IT incidents, initiating measures for rapid troubleshooting
• Participation in the development, implementation and documentation of guidelines on information security, data protection and emergency management
  
  

Your profile

Formal requirements

• A completed university degree in the field of computer science (FH diploma, bachelor's degree) or comparable
  
  

OR

• Completed training as an IT specialist or in a comparable field with several years of professional experience
  
  

In the case of foreign educational qualifications, we require proof of equivalence with a German qualification.

Knowledge and experience

• in the areas of network technology, server administration and operating systems
• in the operation of IT applications
• in the design and management of IT architectures and IT processes
• in the administration of Linux systems (command lines, shell scripts, ...)
• in backend, architecture (NGINX, Apache, proxy, etc.)
• Confident handling of the common MS Office programs
• in working with digital document management systems
• Language skills (CEFR level): German at least C1
  
  

Desirable

• Knowledge of IT-relevant standards (e.g. IT security according to IT-Grundschutz (BSI), LPIC)
• Experience with SCRUM, DevOps and cryptography
• Knowledge of Python

• Willingness to participate in an extended security check in accordance with Section 9 of the Security Check Act (SÜG) and its positive completion
