RWE Offshore Wind is one of the world’s largest producers of electricity from offshore wind and a key driver of the global energy transition. To continue expanding our renewable energy portfolio, we’re looking for passionate young talent and that’s where you come in!

As a working student in our operational HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) team, you’ll support our international experts in their daily work. You’ll collaborate with global stakeholders and gain valuable insights into our processes related to occupational health, safety, and environmental protection. Along the way, you’ll learn how safety standards are identified and implemented, actively contributing to a safe and sustainable work environment.

The Role

• Support the HSE management team within the Offshore Wind / Operations Continental Europe (CE) business unit
• Actively contribute to the implementation of measures aimed at continuously improving occupational safety and environmental protection
• Prepare meaningful documentation to help promote a safe and sustainable work environment
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of risk assessments and operating instructions
• Conduct research on current legal requirements and best practices in the HSE field
• Support targeted HSE projects – with the opportunity to independently manage smaller sub-projects
  
  

Your Profile

• Enrolled in a degree program such as Safety and Security Engineering, Safety Technology or a comparable field – ideally with a focus on occupational safety
• Initial practical experience in occupational, environmental, or health protection as well as knowledge of relevant legal requirements and professional association regulations is a plus
• Strong initiative, reliability, and organizational skills, combined with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills and a confident, professional demeanor in an international environment
• Proficient in MS Office, with the ability to quickly learn new IT tools
• A strong interest in occupational and environmental safety within an international company that plays a central role in the energy transition
• Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
