Working Student (f/m/d) - Global IT Operations Management

The mission of Solvd Group is to automate the end-to-end motor claims management process by integration of the best-in-class digital and AI-supported tools available in the market. Creating a leading global claims platform as one-stop-shop for insurers will enable an easily integrated, seamless and smooth experience for clients.

To support our IT team we are currently seeking a Working Student (f/m/d) to support our daily business in the IT operations, 20 hours per week, immediate start. This role offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the IT industry while contributing to a important global project.

Key responsibilities

• Provide users support with Workplace (Microsoft 365 based) related topics
• Review and advise on the alignment of IT Strategies throughout Solvd Group and track realization via IT project portfolios
• Provide support for system administration tasks including installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems
• Help troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions
• Execution of access requests and ensuring professional IT onboarding of new joiners
• Execution of the offboarding process for leavers.
• Collaborate with team members on IT projects and initiatives
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
• Creation, revision and updating of documents and information (e.g. presentations, project plans, intranet)
• Support in contract and supplier management
• Coordinate with external providers to manage activities such as purchasing new devices, troubleshooting services, and ensuring this smooth operation of IT resources.

Experience & Qualification

• Enrolled at a German university studying computer science, information systems, electrical engineering, mathematics or a comparable area
• Passion for innovative business models and digitalization
• Strong passion for technology and eagerness to learn
• High degree of self-organization, individual responsibility and decisiveness
• Understanding of agility values & principles and knowledge of key methodologies like Scrum / Kanban is a plus
• Microsoft 365 workplace solutions knowledge / experience is a plus
• Experience with Apple devices (MacBook / iPhone / iPad) as a workplace solution is a plus
• Fluent written and spoken English, German proficiency is a plus
• Munich area prefered because of office location
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
