Over the past couple of years, we have actively been building and using technology to source and evaluate investment opportunities. Currently, we are looking to expand our team with a Working Student with a background in Software Engineering and Data who shares our excitement about the mission, demonstrates genuine curiosity and has a hands-on, getting-things done mentality.

Your Responsibilities

• System enhancement - continuously refine our deal-sourcing engine by improving the architecture, ensuring maintenance, and optimizing scalability to keep our system agile and robust
• Scoring system improvement - extending our evaluation framework of companies and investment opportunities by constantly adding new signals from the market and founding teams. Evaluate effectiveness of current algorithms and continuously fine-tune our models
• Workflow improvements - design and build technology-driven workflows with a user-centric mindset to help incorporate data-driven decisions into our investment process

Your Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Python, NodeJS, SQL and AWS. Experience building ML models is a big plus. Good knowledge of software engineering best practices and the full development lifecycle
• Previous exposure and demonstrated interest in the startups ecosystem
• Self-starter demonstrating genuine curiosity and hands-on, getting-things done mentality. Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with an outgoing nature
• Fluent in English
