You will join the Clinical Operations department – a part of research, development, and innovation at Institut Straumann AG. As a curious and scientifically oriented person, you are interested to gain first insights into the collection, processing and analysis of clinical data, like real-world data and literature. You’ll be a part of an international team of scientists and specialists, mainly located at the global Headquarter in Basel.
Duration 6 months.
Your Main Tasks
- Analysis and visualisation of large datasets extracted from scientific literature.
- Support in data management tasks of a dental implant registry and other Real World Data analysis.
- Collaborate for data extraction and database management.
- Standardising and mapping data entries across teams in Clinical Operations.
- Depending on profile of the applicant, your responsibilities may also include
- Medical Coding of safety events in clinical studies and post-market surveillance.
- Support AI-based assessments of extracted data.
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, or similar.
- Experience with extracting and working with scientific data from literature
- Interest in digital tools and basic programming skills is a plus
- Proactive individual with a structured work approach and the ability of achieving results pragmatically
- Demonstrates a "Player-Learner" attitude: open communication, adaptable to change, solution-oriented, learns through practical experience, and welcomes feedback
- Exhibits a high level of integrity, commitment, and ethical conduct
- Proficient in written and verbal communication in English
