Are you passionate about developing and creating products that help improve patient care and outcomes through the development of computer-assisted surgical systems?

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic student to join our R&D team focusing on software development for advanced navigation in orthopaedic surgery. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a cutting-edge solution for computer-assisted surgery that can have a significant impact on patient outcomes.

Our Offer To You

  • You will perform problem solving, identify potential solutions and evaluate them.
  • You will implement software components in C /Qt on a Linux platform.
  • You will work in a multidisciplinary team of software engineers and domain experts.
  • Evaluate the performance of developed algorithms using appropriate metrics.
  • Document research findings, algorithms and results in reports.

That Makes You Stand Out

  • You are currently enrolled in a master's programme in computer science, biomedical engineering or a related field.
  • You have experience in object-oriented programming (C /Java, etc.) and a strong interest in developing high-performance software.
  • You have a background in computer vision, image processing and/or machine learning.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging (CT, MRI) and segmentation techniques is a plus.
  • You have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • You have good communication and documentation skills in English.

Start Date: September or October 2025

Duration: 6 months
