TAKKT group are expanding our presence in Budapest, Hungary, to host the new European TAKKT Competence Center (TCC). Building on recent improvements in our processes and customer experience, the TCC will support our European colleagues in streamlining processes, modernizing systems, and driving innovation. This expansion means we will be hiring highly skilled experts in digital and future-focused competencies, ensuring that we remain competitive and customer-centric as we embrace new technologies, including AI.

This role offers you the chance to lay the foundation for advanced insights, enabling data-supported and automated decision-making processes across the TAKKT Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of a new state-of-the-art data platform while ensuring the continued smooth operation of the existing system.
• Contribute to the advancement of a data-driven corporate strategy, providing value and success across various business units.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders, to support the realization of platform architecture, self-service BI, and AI requirements.
• Engage in key projects focused on building multi-data platform solutions and cloud-based infrastructures, leveraging Infrastructure as Code.
  
  

Professional Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Data Engineer or Senior Data Engineer.
• Extensive expertise in building multi-data platform solutions or cloud-based infrastructures (preferably Snowflake, SQL Server, or similar).
• Strong proficiency in ETL/ELT frameworks such as DBT, Azure Data Factory, or similar.
• Solid understanding of GIT and CI/CD processes.
• Proven programming skills, including Python and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of various data architectures, including microservices, real-time processing, and data warehouse design methodologies.
