About Our Mandate:
We are a newly established investment office in Munich, backed by a German entrepreneurial family. Our goal is to manage capital with long-term conviction, top-tier quality, and high ethical standards. We invest internationally across both liquid (equities, fixed income, hedge funds) and illiquid (private equity, private credit) asset classes, with a strong focus on building enduring partnerships with world-class managers.
Your Key Responsibilities:
β Select, analyze, and perform due diligence on global private equity fund investments, identifying top-tier managers across core markets like the UK, North America, and Asia.
β Shape the private markets portfolio strategy (e.g. commitment pacing, diversification across PE, Private Credit, Real Estate, VC).
β Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with international fund managers and advisors to ensure access to best-in-class investment opportunities.
β Support investment committee preparation and reporting, and contribute to the development of risk and allocation frameworks.
Your Profile:
β 2β7 years of experience in illiquid fund selection, ideally with a focus on private equity.
β Academic background in finance, economics, engineering, or natural sciences from a top-tier institution.
β Strong analytical and interpersonal skills; capable of independently managing fund selection and due diligence processes.
β Fluent in German and English; international experience is a plus.
β Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to shape and grow a new investment platform.
