Group Accountant

Group Accountant, Fin-Tech, €70-80,000, Munich/Hybrid

Trace are supporting a rapidly growing payments Fin-Tech with this hire for a Group Accountant based in their Munich office.

This firm are well-established, with 11 offices across the world and have a passionate, driven and innovative team of individuals. This role will be part of a high-performing Global Finance team, operating across 7 locations.

Your Role

• Preparing consolidated financial statements under IFRS and HGB and supporting the preparation of annual group reports & accounts.
• Full involvement in updating of year-end statutory accounting packs.
• Work closely with the Group and German auditors at year-end.
• Advising on the accounting treatment of new IFRS standards and how they impact the business.
• Involvement in the wider finance team with projects and implementation of best practices.

Your Skills & Qualifications

• Extensive financial reporting and technical accounting knowledge for IFRS and HGB.
• Have strong consolidations and audit experience gained in a global firm.
• Fluency and English and German are a must with the ability to build relationships.
• Great Excel skills and attention to detail.
