Head of Engineering

Head of Engineering – Ruby Focus | Munich | Hybrid

We're supporting a growing tech company in Munich that's on the lookout for a Head of Engineering to help lead their development team. The business has a strong product used by companies across Europe and is now building out its engineering leadership to support further growth.

The Role

This is a key position working closely with the CTO to:

• Lead and support a growing team of engineers
• Improve engineering processes and ways of working
• Stay hands-on where needed—especially across the Ruby backend
• Work cross-functionally with product and design to deliver new features
• Help scale the tech team as the company continues to grow

What They're Looking For

• Strong experience in Ruby (Rails knowledge is a bonus)
• Background in engineering leadership or team management
• A mix of technical know-how and people leadership
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, product-led environment
