Senior Middle Office Specialist - Fund of Hedge Funds

Introduction:

Our client is a leading international Alternative Investment Manager.

For their Fund of Hedge Funds Division, we are looking for a senior middle office specialist with consolidated experience in Fund of Funds or Hedge Funds.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Trade Support: Assist in the processing and reconciling of trades, ensuring accuracy in transaction details and compliance with regulations.

2. Risk Management: Monitor and analyse risk metrics, helping to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with fund investments

3. Performance Reporting: Prepare and maintain performance reports for the funds, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information to stakeholders.

4. Data Management: Maintain and update databases related to fund performance, investor information, and market data.

5. Communication: Liaise with the front office, back office, and external parties (such as fund managers and custodians) to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues.

6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all operations adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

7. Project Support: Assist with various projects related to operational efficiency, system enhancements, and process improvements.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.

2. Experience: Previous experience in middle office functions or asset management is essential. 3. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, proficient in Excel and data analysis tools.

4. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and German.

6. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

7. Familiarity with hedge fund structures and investment strategies

8. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.

9. Experience with financial software and trading platforms can be advantageous.
