In line with expansion, they are now looking to recruit a new Risk Analyst/Associate to develop, support and maintain data collection and analytics as well as quantitative-oriented tasks of the internal Risk Management function.
The role is embedded in Risk Intelligence, reporting and research unit within the AIFM’s Risk Management Function. The Risk Management team is responsible for profiling, analyzing and managing the different risks across all managed funds of the AIFM. The day-to-day tasks include development of new risk models, maintaining risk reports, risk data organization and ad-hoc requests. Furthermore, the candidate will support the valuation function in all data and quantitative model queries.
Duties:
• Work with different information stakeholders of the AIFM, the Group and service suppliers to
collect and handle risk data;
• Quantitative and qualitative data analytics;
• Perform data analysis and prepare risk reports;
• Support the development, usage and maintenance of the analytical risk management tools of the
AIFM’s Risk function;
• Enhancement of operational efficiency;
• Support the risk team on any ad-hoc queries on risk related topics;
• Research and analyze risk indicators and standard market risk models.
Requirements:
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics or Math is required;
• First experience in a similar role is considered an advantage;
• Accuracy and a high degree of attention to data details is essential. The idea candidate likes to work with data and has the ability to arrange and re-arrange data sets to come up with respective results.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential;
• Programming skills (VBA, Python, SQL, etc.) and familiarity with tools such as Power BI and
Bloomberg are considered an advantage;
• The candidate is a team player, is able to work independently and demonstrates a professional
attitude and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels;
