WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

YapiKredi DE seeks an experienced Outsourcing & Risk Manager (preferably more than 5 years), or Outsourcing & Risk Specialist (between 2 to 5 years) in order to oversee and manage the outsourced services of the bank, as ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and alignment with business objectives. The role is expected to cooperate with the Risk Management Department while requiring a strategic and detail-oriented professional knowledge of German banking regulations, mainly including MaRisk, and EBA. Moreover, the candidate should also possess adequate abilities in third-party management, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and manage outsourced services to ensure performance, efficiency, and alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain an inventory of outsourced activities and service providers.
• Establish and oversee contractual agreements, ensuring clear SLAs, KPIs, exit strategies, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews and manage relationships with service providers.
• Provide support for ongoing Risk Management activities as needed.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE & RISK MANAGEMENT

• Ensure full compliance with MaRisk (Minimum Requirements for Risk Management) and other relevant regulations such as EBA Guidelines on outsourcing arrangements.
• Collaborate with business units and third parties.
• Scrutinizing regulatory changes in relation to outsourcing and performing risk assessments on outsourced activities, performing materiality analysis, and identifying and mitigating potential risks.
• Develop and maintain a robust risk management framework for outsourced services.

AUDIT, DOCUMENTATION & REPORTING

• Prepare detailed reports on outsourcing activities for internal stakeholders and regulators.
• Pursue comprehensive documentation of outsourcing processes, audits, and compliance checks.

INCIDENT & CONTINGENCY PLANNING

• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external outsourcing-related queries.
• Develop exit strategies for potential disruptions in outsourced services.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES

✔Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or related fields. A Master’s degree (MBA or MSc) in Finance, or a related field/discipline is preferred, but not obligatory.

✔Professional Experience:

📌Outsourcing & Risk Manager: 5 years in outsourcing, banking compliance, and risk management.

📌Outsourcing & Risk Specialist: 2-5 years in the same fields.

LANGUAGES

• Fluency in both written and spoken English and German.
• Knowing other languages is also a plus.
