Your Contribution To Prysmian's Success

We are looking for Process Engineer to join our Plant based in Vilanova,

Reporting directly to the Plant Process Engineering Manager, you will:

• Support in technical product development by identifying potential specification for improvements.
• Analyze product specifications, parts drawings, and other engineering data to develop new production processes, estimate time requirements for each step, and prepares operation sheets.
• Analyze existing production processes and support the development of recommendations for changes to working methods or operation sequences that will minimize risks, costs, and wastage; increase yields and productivity; and improve the quality and consistency of final products.
• Collect manufacturing data, calculate and analyze manufacturing KPIs;
• Create recipes to set up the lines in order to get better performance;
• Develop continuous improvement projects to increase the level of efficiency of the plant.
• Collaborate with the Health and Safety Department to optimize machine design, ensuring compliance with ergonomic standards and enhancing overall safety features.
• Participate in the installation of new production lines, covering all phases from the initial concept, manufacturing design, layout definition, coordination with suppliers, civil works, commissioning, to the production of the first energy cable
  
  

You Are The Right Fit If You Have/are

• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Engineering degree, preferably Mechanical/Electronics and Automatic Control Engineering
• Up to 3 years of experience as a process engineer
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge is a nice to have
• Office package and SAP good knowledge
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Decision making attitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset

Tu Contribución Al Éxito De Prysmian

Estamos buscando un Ingeniero de Procesos para unirse a nuestra planta en Vilanova.

Reportando directamente al Gerente de Ingeniería de Procesos de la Planta, tú:

• Apoyarás en el desarrollo técnico de productos identificando posibles especificaciones para mejoras.
• Analizarás las especificaciones del producto, los dibujos de las piezas y otros datos de ingeniería para desarrollar nuevos procesos de producción, estimar los requisitos de tiempo para cada paso y preparar hojas de operación.
• Analizarás los procesos de producción existentes y apoyarás el desarrollo de recomendaciones para cambios en los métodos de trabajo o secuencias de operación que minimicen riesgos, costos y desperdicios; aumenten los rendimientos y la productividad; y mejoren la calidad y consistencia de los productos finales.
• Recogerás datos de fabricación, calcularás y analizarás los KPIs de fabricación.
• Crearás recetas para configurar las líneas con el fin de obtener un mejor rendimiento.
• Desarrollarás proyectos de mejora continua para aumentar el nivel de eficiencia de la planta.
• Colaborarás con el Departamento de Salud y Seguridad para optimizar el diseño de las máquinas, asegurando el cumplimiento de los estándares ergonómicos y mejorando las características de seguridad en general.
• Participarás en la instalación de nuevas líneas de producción, cubriendo todas las fases desde el concepto inicial, diseño de fabricación, definición de layout, coordinación con proveedores, obras civiles, puesta en marcha, hasta la producción del primer cable de energía.
  
  

Eres El Candidato Ideal Si Tienes/eres

• Fluidez en inglés y español.
• Título en ingeniería, preferiblemente en Ingeniería Mecánica/Electrónica y Control Automático.
• Hasta 3 años de experiencia como ingeniero de procesos.
• Conocimientos de Lean Manufacturing son un plus.
• Buen conocimiento del paquete Office y SAP.
• Fuertes habilidades de comunicación e interpersonales.
• Actitud para la toma de decisiones, pensamiento crítico y habilidades para resolver problemas.
• Fuertes habilidades de trabajo en equipo, orientado a resultados y con una mentalidad ambiciosa.
