Job Summary:
The Scheduling and Planning Manager will be part of a team responsible for the planning, control and monitoring of the company’s ongoing projects as well as upcoming pipelines projects. He/She will play an integral role in the development and implementation of the new data center and be responsible for delivering successful projects from initial stage to ready for service stage.
Responsibilities:
Develop Level 1 to 3 project schedules for all development stages.
Delivery strategy alignment with procurement, design & engineering, construction, T&C and operation teams.
Support and assist PMC in developing Level 3 Project Coordinated Schedule with key project milestones sufficient for other departments such as Design and Procurement Team to plan
Review and schedule quality check (Health check) of Level 4 and/or Level 5 project detail timeline schedule by Contractor/s.
Setting and ensuring that Contractors and PMCs adhere to DayOne schedule management policy.
Project control and monitoring to ensure projects’ progress is on target. Tracking and alignment on project delivery status including risk and mitigation.
Advise the construction team and any key personnel of any major slippages in the works, particularly those affecting key/interim milestones.
Review and tracking or any recovery plan or acceleration plan should projects fall behind in terms of progress.
Consolidating project’s progress reporting and preparation of weekly/monthly reporting in form of dashboards or presentation slides.
Managing and keeping records or updated project timeline schedule in OPC.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction and/or equivalent
Min of 8 years of planning and scheduling experience, including management
Data Center delivery experience will be added advantage.
Good understanding of construction industry practices and standards to perform planning and scheduling.
Experience and Proficiency in Primavera P6 / Oracle Primavera Cloud and Microsoft Project.
