We are seeking a Project Manager, Plant Solutions to join the Minerals Business Area, Smelting Delivery team in Espoo, Finland. The primary responsibility of this role is to successfully manage plant delivery projects to meet the set targets. In this role, you will report to the Director, Project Management.
This position is located in Espoo (hybrid work possible). The ability to travel occasionally to customer sites internationally is needed.

What you do
Lead and manage the global implementation of complex plant projects, considering all contractual scopes i.e. engineering, supplies, construction as well as start-up
Plan and lead the projects so that financial, time schedule, and quality objectives, and also customer satisfaction, are achieve
Report monthly of projects’ status to stakeholders
Operate as an interface between Metso’s and customer’s project execution and ensure good customer relationship
Manage risks
Manage Change Orders effectively and identify "add-on" sales opportunities during project execution
Lead the project team in an encouraging manner and enhance the team spirit
End to End responsibility for the project including lessons learnt
Identify opportunities for Metso Business process improvement and make constructive suggestions for change
Lead and manage proposal projects as required
Uphold high safety standards in delivering all aspects of the project portfolio, ensuring the development of a strong safety culture and environmental awareness during all phases of the implementation
Who you are
Strong work experience on similar tasks
Technology and engineering experience in the industry is essential
Business and industry understanding
The ability to work with others in a range of different cultures
Project execution and negotiation skills
The ability to lead a project team and drive for results
Understanding of customer needs
Good communication skills in English, Finnish language is a benefit
