Introduction

We are looking for a Senior Application Specialist, SAP Finance to work within our Finance Application Team in the Metso IT. This is an exciting opportunity for a SAP Senior Specialist. Your primary mission is to manage SAP custom development, services, and processes. You will work closely with our talented SAP team and other application teams and engage seamlessly with other IT teams.

This position is mainly located in Espoo, Finland, but we offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.

What you’ll do

Your key role will be to support our SAP S4 solution.
You coordinate development and support activities with our key stakeholders internally and externally (implementation partner and other external partners).

Who you are

Proficiency in at least one of the SAP modules such as Finance and Controlling (SAP FICO), Central Finance (SAP CFIN), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Quote to Cash (SAP SD), Procurement-to-Pay (SAP MM), and Demand to Supply (SAP PP, APO, IBP
Previous knowledge and experience in ECC / S4 HANA throughout the application lifecycle, with at least 5 years of experience. Experience in configuring SAP S4 HANA Finance.
Participate in IT tools and processes development, implement chosen development practices and IT & digital development model (e.g., DevOps, ITIL based) and seek ways to leverage agility and speed with development.
Collect and document requirements, perform functional analysis, design, build/test/document solutions as required and perform knowledge transfers to stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
Great communication skills in English.
