Project Engineer

Nipromec Oy Ltd is an international consulting and engineering company founded in 2003. We offer design and consulting services for multiple industries with emphasis on energy and construction. Nipromec offices in Finland are located in Rauma, Turku, Tampere and Helsinki. Group has offices also in Malmö in Sweden, Erlangen in Germany, Bristol and London in United Kingdom. 

We are now looking for a PROJECT ENGINEER for a project for our client. Duration of the work is 1.6.2025-31.05.2026.  

Location is in Espoo. Hybrid work is possible and occasional travelling (5-10 days per month) in Finland is to be expected. 

In this role you will have an exciting opportunity to support our client´s projects in Project management and Execution department of Engineering & Projects (E&P). You would have the opportunity to work closely with the project manager and project team with versatile tasks. Tasks can be adjusted according to the person’s skills and interests.

Your daily tasks may include:

• Preparing project status reports
• Making project resource reservations using the resource management tool
• Preparing financial forecasts for the project, cost monitoring, and maintaining forecasts
• Coordinating project documentation
• Coordinating project meetings and preparing minutes
• Organizing customer events such as workshops
• Maintaining project risks and participating in planning of corrective actions

To be successful in this role, we believe you bring the following:

• At least 2 year of work experience, in a project organization (as a project team member)
• Ability to grasp technical contents within design projects
• Outgoing and proactive. Dare to take initiative and ask for help and advice when needed
• Effective communication skills and ability to cooperate with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Systematic working approach and organizational ability
• Can adapt to rapidly changing project needs while ensuring that tasks are performed with quality and on schedule
• Fluent in Finnish AND English, Swedish is an advantage
• Technical education background is considered an advantage
