About the Role

As a System Administrator at Soluserve, you will be responsible for managing and securing internal IT infrastructure, supporting end users, and driving automation to streamline IT operations. In this role, you'll focus on maintaining reliable digital workspace(s), implementing automation tools, and optimizing system performance. This position offers a strong opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment, helping to improve efficiency, ensure security, and support the day-to-day operations of our IT environment.


Main Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain office and workspace applications with an automation-first approach
  • Actively support internal end-users by anticipating issues and resolving them promptly. Balance proactive monitoring and reactive troubleshooting to ensure users remain productive, secure, and confident in their IT environment.
  • Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of employee-facing tools and workspace systems
  • Provide network administration and support, ensuring performance, stability, and security
  • Install and integrate new hardware and software systems across the company
  • Monitor system and network performance (availability, utilization, latency), identifying issues proactively
  • Develop scripts to automate manual tasks and enhance operational efficiency
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights following IAM and Zero Trust principles
  • Maintain and optimize endpoint management tools (e.g., Workspace ONE, JAMF, Intune)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by users or flagged by internal monitoring tools
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of IT policies and security standards
  • Assist in system hardening, vulnerability management, and patch management initiatives
  • Support backup and disaster recovery processes to ensure data integrity and business continuity
  • Promote and implement cybersecurity best practices among internal users and across systems

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar system administration , IT operations, or infrastructure support role
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and endpoint security best practices
  • Experience with IAM platforms (e.g., Okta, Azure AD) and access management processes
  • Hands-on knowledge of networking, routing, switching, and VPN configuration
  • Experience working with firewalls, remote access solutions, and endpoint protection platforms
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery tools and methodologies
  • Ability to manage and monitor infrastructure and endpoints using modern tools
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience supporting remote or distributed teams
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Jira Service Desk or similar ticketing systems
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP) and relevant cloud security practices
  • Experience with Workspace ONE, Okta, JAMF, or Microsoft Intune
  • Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
  • Knowledge of Linux system administration and secure configuration
  • Knowledge in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • Awareness of current cybersecurity trends, risks, and regulatory requirements
