Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

High level of IT literacy with the ability to quickly learn new systems
An understanding of relational databases
Experience of working with large company datasets is preferred
Intermediate level MS Excel skills are preferred
Good understanding of M&A process and deal lifecycle
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Decent understanding of financial statements
Basic understanding of GDPR and data protection
Responsibilities
Monitor new records created by users to ensure we maintain high quality information, and where records are incomplete / inaccurate identify user training needs.
Run quarterly deduplication processes to identify and resolve duplicate records through merging.
Identify and resolve orphaned records, eg. contacts without a company, interactions without external attendees, watchlist entries without a watchlist.
Conduct a system wide data validation exercise, researching companies and updating their records with supplementary information.
Run weekly processes that feed into system adoption reporting and key management information.
Support system users with ad-hoc help desk queries, guiding them in the use of the system and instilling best practice.
Perform ad-hoc fuzzy match requests in MS Excel and bulk data uploads to dataroom to support origination.
Support users with the ad-hoc creation of reports.
Provide support and perform user acceptance testing during system upgrades, improvements and new integrations as required.
Provide support and perform user acceptance testing for further phases of the Global Data Layer roll out.
Qualifications
CFA / MBA (Specialization in Finance & Investment Management)
