Business Insights Analyst

Experience

• 3 Years experience in banking/investment banking/fintech industry
• Post graduate qualifications in Finance, Commerce or Business from reputed B Schools (Preferred)
• Fluent in structured and unstructured data, its management and data transformation techniques
• Exposure to Python - Automation, PowerBI, PowerQuery, VBA/Macros
• Reports, data visualisation and dashboards
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including sound presentational skills

The Individual will be responsible for

• Strategically support productivity initiatives across organisation.
• Development and driving of cost efficiency initiatives across domains
• Encourage and provide a culture of innovation and continual improvement
• Be a change agent to inspire speed to value technology improvements for the business
• Ensure alignment to consistent frameworks for continuous delivery
• Strong analytical capabilities, and ability to shift between deep in the detail and pulling up to synthesize executive level insights and recommendations

Essential capabilities

• Provide Business Support, primarily for Incident logging, Production changes and root cause analysis for issues
• Robust quantitative analytical skill set
• Handle, and report from, different data bases in collaboration with domain experts
• Ability to synthesise clear takeaways and recommendations from analysing complex. information using both quantitative and qualitative methods
• Strong logical reasoning, creative and strategic thinking skills
• Flexibility in resolving issues and addressing changing priorities
• Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with stakeholders
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and ability to work as part of a team
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
