Boarding in Progress! As our System Administrator you will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day IT support, administration, and performance while ensuring quality standards are met.
In this role the majority of your task will managing, installing and monitoring Unix/Linux operating systems. Our company is growing so are we. Responsibilities:
- Monitoring, patching, troubleshooting and supporting Linux systems and virtual environments
- Manage and troubleshoot end user systems and server-based environment
- Prepare laptop/desktop hardware for new-hires and ongoing tech refresh cycles
- Manage and troubleshoot malware infections
- Holding internal trainings to transfer knowledge
- Taking part in introducing new systems (researching, proposing new solutions, implementing, documenting, testing and supporting)
- Handle central IT equipment (projector, printers, security systems, etc.)
- Keep internal knowledge base up-to date
- Create user guides
Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience in Windows desktop and Windows/Linux server support
- Strong Linux Background
- Expert Active Directory knowledge
- Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills
- Experience in working with Central Management Systems and Central Security Systems (Satellite, SCCM, WSUS)
- Experience in Trellix
- IT security knowledge (primarily endpoint and server protection)
- Experience in virtualization, especially in Broadcom and Docker solutions
- Basic IT network knowledge
