As the Global Buyer Spare Parts you will be responsible, for the management of spare part category, purchase, storage, and distribution of spare parts or components required for machinery, or equipment, for implementing sourcing strategies according to category management strategies and leading sourcing activities across all business units at global level.

Main Responsibilities
Develop & Implement Procurement strategies to key internal customers for review and input. Leverage integrators & OEM’s globally and provide solutions & alternatives for Spare parts process improvement including integrators & OEM’s management
Maintain knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry benchmarks and stays informed on current industry trends and new market developments
Develop & implement Digital Solutions and VMI Programs: Implementing digital solutions (such as PunchOut catalogues) and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs streamline procurement processes and improve expenditure management
Communicate departmental vision & goals and act as a change agent, bring outside innovation and leverage global footprint
Ensures the implementation and operational follow-up of action plans derived from the strategies, in close collaboration with the procurement network and stakeholders
Provides support to the Global Lead Buyer of the category to ensure the execution of the strategy and sourcing execution, delivers savings pipeline in line with targets and reports on status, savings, performance, and risks on the sourcing activities for maintenance category and leads global RFIs/RFPs and contract negotiations for maintenance category
Run robust Supplier Management with business reviews & performance management Ensure mastery of Procurement technical excellence (TCO, SRM, Market Intel, Risk Management, Innovation, CSR, HSE, compliance, quality…)
Experience
About you
4 years' experience in Procurement Spare parts experience in pharma industry or retail/fast moving goods company
Soft Skills
Technical knowledge of Spare Parts Management, reverse engineering, Additive manufacturing & Lathing/milling/coating technologies
Good understanding of inventory management and FIFO practices.
Results oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, notably on large data sets
Knowledge of SAP MM module and any CMMS tool
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Trained into crisis management
Knowledge of Pharma GMP work environment
Proven experience into remote maintenance contract deployment and machinery connectivity and censoring
Good understanding of finance and legal aspects
Flexible, receptive, resourceful, creative, and results oriented
Proven project management
Technical and commercial Negotiation
Communication skills: Assertiveness, ability to convince/influence others and excellent presentation skills
Able to quickly assimilate new information/skills

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business or another relevant field
Languages
Excellent command of both written and spoken English required
