SAP Roll-out Cutover Manager

The Cutover Manager is responsible for the overall orchestration of preparation, planning, and execution of SAP Roll-out Cutover activities. This role involves building the cutover plan, from high-level cutover principles identified early in the project (e.g., the blackout window) to consolidating all central and local inputs into a detailed checklist. The Cutover Manager works with various functional and technical teams and collaborates closely with local business cutover managers from different plants in scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive, define, and align the cutover strategy.
• Define the cutover plan in conjunction with all IT and business stakeholders.
• Collect the loading plan from the Data Migration team and integrate it into the overall cutover plan.
• Collect the business ramp-down and ramp-up plan and integrate it into the overall cutover plan.
• Develop the cutover plan with the local business cutover manager(s).
• Manage the execution of the cutover.
• Manage cutover communication strategy and ensure communication of cutover progress, supported by relevant statistics and dashboards.
• Manage cutover defects (ensure correct logging, prioritization, ownership assignment, and timely resolution).
• Provide different blackout window strategies (zero downtime).
• Orchestrate daily stand-up calls to monitor cutover execution progress and define actions to recover delays.

Elvárások / Requirements

• 10 years of experience in SAP project delivery, with at least 5 years in an SAP S/4HANA context.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry.
• General knowledge about SAP and/or MES systems.
• Experience defining and executing cutover plans for complex SAP projects in a multinational context.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Effective and efficient working experience in a complex matrix organizational structure.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; must be a team player.
• Experience in onsite-offshore delivery mode.
• College or University degree (IT/Business Degree or equivalent).
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI, Prince 2, Agile/Scrum).
• Solution builder and consensus seeker.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Good solution and people management skills.
• Good overall cutover management skills.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment.
• Preparedness to travel (within Europe) for 50% of the time.
