Receptionist (Part-time)- Askeaton

Windmill Healthcare is seeking a part-time Receptionist to become a member of our Care Team at Abbot Close Care Centre in Askeaton, Co. Limerick. The position requires working three days a week, specifically Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. This role is available to cover Maternity Leave from June 9, 2025, until December 2025.

The receptionist will co-ordinate with the Director of Nursing for the day to day running of the Nursing Home.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting visitors, residents and employee's in a positive and friendly manner.
• Screening, answering and forwarding telephone calls.
• Ensuring the reception area is kept neat and tidy.
• Assisting employee's and resident's with queries
• Printing and binding documents
• Managing/ordering supplies for the home
• General clerical duties
• Assistance with accounts during holiday periods
• Any other duties deemed necessary by Director of Nursing

Experience/Skills Required:

• Must have previous receptionist experience
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• The ability to prioritise and multitask, with excellent time management skills
• Ability to deal with several things concurrently and deal with changing priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in both oral and written English
• Must be of the caring nature, sympathetic to the needs of all the residents
