Yard Operative

C&D Foods have an exciting opportunity for a Yard Operative to join our team. This role will be based in Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford.

Key Responsibilities

Power Washing of Dolavs (Approx.150 per shift).

Empty CAT 3 Waste Dolavs to approved trailers.

Load CAT 3 Dolavs for dispatch as required.

Unloading CAT 3 deliveries to site as required.

Collect Waste Dolavs from Collection Points.

Sort and load damaged pallets for disposal as required.

Cleaning duties at the WWTP.

Be prepared to cross train on WWTP workings, observations and sample collections.

General factory external cleaning duties.

Emptying of Wheelie Bins.

In additional to all of the above be flexible and willing to carry out other non-specified duties when requested by the Environmental Officer.

Competencies

Flexibility to move across all shift patterns to cover Annual Leave, Absence etc is a fundamental of this role.

A conscious individual who leads by example and enjoys working in a safe and accurate environment with a flexible approach to work.

Ability to work to instructions while also using own initiative.

Highly organised individual.

Good attention to detail.

Proactive and Reliable.
