PURPOSE: The role of an Accommodation Assistant at the Ballynahinch Castle hotel is to ensure that all guest rooms, corridors, front of house areas and toilets are kept clean and tidy at all times and to the standard expected.

To service guests' rooms promptly and with the care and attention to detail required. To greet and assist all guests in a friendly and cheerful manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

Clean and prepare guest rooms to the highest standards.

Clean public areas as directed by the Management.

Remain pleasant and courteous to guests and colleagues at all times.

Assist in in-house laundry.

The ideal candidate will have previous housekeeping experience in a similar luxury setting, possess a keen eye for detail, and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Report all accidents and hazards to management in an efficient manner.

To comply with all fire, health and safety regulations and attend necessary training for the safety and security of your colleagues and guests.

Maintain full responsibility for the hygiene and cleanliness of all assigned areas in accordance with company policy.

OTHER DUTIES:

To carry out any other duties/routine outside normal or weekly routine but within the overall scope of your position.
