The Role

The successful candidates will be working as part of the operations team in the factory, undertaking all duties as directed by their manager/supervisor. Play a key role in production, storage, cleaning, Health & Safety and all other tasks as directed by management.
The role involves the employee being an integral part of a team, working together and meeting production plans.

Key Accountabilities

  • Working on a production line undertaking product grading, weighing and packaging.
  • Preparing product in line with specifications.
  • Maintaining the correct procedures for use of equipment, storage, and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure that the product is of the highest standard and report any issues to the Line supervisor immediately.
  • Be familiar with the daily production plan and work as part of the team to set up the line, complete checks and ensuring materials are ready to use. Perform all pre start, hygiene and safety checks as directed.
  • Other duties will be part of the role from time to time – this will be specified by your direct line Supervisor.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous production hall experience highly beneficial.
  • A good knowledge of food handling and personal hygiene is essential.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment highly beneficial.
  • Team Player, works well with colleagues to do what is best for the Company as a whole
  • Ability to work on own initiative, be self-motivated and have the ability to work under pressure.
  • Build a good working relationship with other departments within the company.
  • Excellent verbal/ communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail skills in relation to quality, traceability and labelling.
  • Flexible to the needs of the business.

Compensation & Benefits

The remuneration package, including salary and benefits, is negotiable depending on experience.
