Overview:
One of Ireland’s leading Tier 1 Main Contractors is seeking a Senior Engineer for a large-scale, €multi-million educational project in the Limerick area. This is a well-established, well-resourced main contractor offering excellent work-life balance and a fully supported working environment alongside some of the top professionals in the industry. The company places a strong emphasis on career progression, with CPD support and a clear path towards more senior leadership roles available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with site foremen, subcontractors, and the wider team to ensure smooth communication and execution.
• Review technical drawings and coordinate design developments from concept through to approved technical submissions.
• Supervise subcontractors and the site workforce, planning and coordinating daily activities to meet programme targets.
• Oversee quality control, ensuring work is delivered to the highest standards in line with the project’s specifications.

Requirements:

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a site engineering role, with an Irish Main Contractor or Large Subcontractor.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling tools like Microsoft Project.

The Package:
Salary is DOE but a strong Senior Engineer can expect a salary of €70,000 - €75,000 vehicle, fuel card, 8% pension, family healthcare, 27 days annual leave and the opportunity to work with one of the most respected Main Contractors in Ireland.
